All this coalesces in his live act, where he plays his synthesizers, drum machines, and layers vocals, building polymetric and polyrhythmic grooves without the aid of DJ equipment. High Fruit's compositions have graced games by industry giants such as Take-Two Interactive, Annapurna Interactive, and MTV Games. His live audiovisuals and dance floor installations have supported Berghain residents Tama Sumo + Lakuti and Phase Fatale, as well as Jubilee, Lauren Flax, Rrao, Antenes, and Nark. Patrick owns and operates his own studio, Interactive Sound + Fury, and is a member of the underground dance music crew Lotion Collective. He lives in beautiful Seattle, WA.

Kumar

Experience the debut EP, "Kumar," from High Fruit, a six-track journey delving into themes of dance floor connection, love, and loss. First conceived during a flare-up of his Crohn's disease that left him disabled and unable to walk even one city block, Patrick dreamed of being on a dance floor again. During this difficult time, he began designing the sounds and writing the music that culminate in the EP. Fusing elements of slowed-down Footwork, Future Beat, UKG, and House, the EP showcases High Fruit's unique vocal morphing style, reminiscent of Irish lilting. The single, "Kumar," exemplifies the EP's seamless blend of classic analog gear and cutting-edge digital synthesis techniques. Recorded and mixed at Interactive Sound & Fury in Seattle, WA, and mastered by acclaimed engineer Willie Green (The Roots, Wiz Khalifa, Billy Woods, Moor Mother) at The Greenhouse in NYC, "Kumar" is a sonic exploration that aims to create conditions for love and acceptance to arise through dance floor catharsis.
